The is no limit to the number of supplies and accessories you can get for your wedding, and many of them are wonderful. It doesn’t matter if you want to do an outdoor theme of some kind, an ethnic theme, or base your wedding day around something like hearts or flowers; you can always find enough plans and products out there to put together a wonderful ceremony and reception. You can do just about anything you want at your wedding and reception now a days. There are so many directions that the lucky couple can go in when they plan out the day they get married. One great avenue to look into is the destination wedding theme, along with destination honeymoons. But, no matter what theme or style wedding and reception you are planning, you still need wedding accessories and reception supplies. What I decided to do was go on the Internet and check out what it had to offer in terms of the products and supplies that I would need for the day I got married. The cost was substantially lower and the hassle was less than it would have been if I would have stuck solely to going go to local places. I picked out personalized glass wedding favors, invitations, and just about whatever else we needed by doing that.
I bought all the essentials for our ceremony like a gorgeous five piece wedding ensemble which included the flower basket, ring pillow, guestbook, a stunning pen set and even a matching leg garter, for a very money saving price. There were plenty of ceremony accessories, including lovely tiaras and wedding combs to choose from too. The items I bought for the reception dinner were all ordered over the net; all I had to do was sit and wait for them to show up at my door. Talk about saving from aggravation – and saving money, too, actually, since I got some great deals. Two miniature people that were spitting images of my fiance and I were made special just for us as a wedding cake topper. This was the perfect topper for our wedding and it makes the best keepsake of all. I also ordered a beautiful cake serving set with crystal handles and champagne toasting flutes that had bride and groom printed on them. I even ordered some champagne glass wedding favors as extra gifts for our friends and family. Each of the women at our wedding got crystal wedding favors, and each of the men who were our guests got shot glass wedding favors. The women got a perfume bottle made of crystal on a key chain that can be easily carried around with them so that they can always freshen up and smell nice no matter where they went. That was something that I figured they’d really appreciate. The containers they arrive in are silver and have a pretty bow and hang tags. The reception tables also had tiny, lovely place card holders. They were made of glass and the form of a bunch of grapes, and in the middle was a place for the card to sit. The reception tables shimmered because of them.
Crystal and glass favors really make pretty good gifts. The ladies really like their perfume bottles and the guys were impressed with the shot glass wedding favors, especially after my fiance turned them into personalized glass wedding favors by having each one engraved. All in all, everyone had a great time and were very happy with their thank you gifts. We also got some pretty remarkable wedding gifts ourselves, including four toasters, two waffle irons and a blender.

The Best Place for Glass Favor!
Wednesday, June 17th, 2009Beautiful Hearts Wedding Favors!
Saturday, June 13th, 2009We decided on having a fantastic hearts wedding ceremony to celebrate our union, because our wedding date was right around Valentines day. It seemed like the perfect theme for our ceremony and reception. I checked out all the options there were for hearts wedding favors and accessories for both the church and the reception hall. There were a lot of selections to choose from for a lovely heart wedding décor. There were lovely unity and taper candles for a very romantic setting and even a collection set of heart wedding accessories that came together for one great low price. There were collection sets of five to eight pieces all together, like our lovely basket, ring pillow, guestbook and more.
Inviting people, of course, was just the first phase, so I went right from that onto setting up the overall look and feel of the wedding, and then gathering together the supplies and accessories to make it work. I bought large scarlet bows made of velvet to put on the church pews with a ribbon that would run from one pew to the next. At the altar were candelabras and our beautiful unity candle with the heart of little roses on the front. On the scene at the wedding, we put many pink and red roses mixed together, in the floral bouquet that I carried. We had doves let out of cages as my groom and I departed from the church building, and it was one extra touch that I thought was just majestic.
The wedding apparel that would be worn by those who were going to be in the wedding had already been selected. I picked out a white satin basket that had bows and lace decorating it for our flower girl. There was a white double hearts wedding themed pillow with a pair of gold hearts on it that we got for our ring boy to use, along with a white ribbon made of satin for the rings. My flower girl was going to wear a small tiara, and it was very similar in appearance to the one I had picked out for myself. She wore a pretty pink dress, made for a flower girl, and she did such a wonderful job as a flower girl and looked so brilliant that I thought she did look like royalty. So did the ring boy, he was quite elegant in his little tuxedo with a red boutonniere in his lapel. He carried the ring pillow like a pro and kept in step with the rest of the wedding party. I was so proud of both of them.
The tables that our reception each had a floral arrangement of pink, red, and white roses with small hearts mixed in with them in the center of the table. I got a place card holder that was the prettiest I had ever seen for each place setting, and two hearts wedding candles that made it feel like love was in the air. I picked out small silver bells with handles in the form of a heart to give each of our guests as a present that would be a memento of our wedding. Our wedding cake was decorated with little hearts all around the bottom layer and little tiny pink and red roses trimmed each layer. Our hearts wedding cake had a white porcelain topper on it that complimented the rest of our cake décor beautifully.
Our entire wedding day called to mind love and Valentine’s Day, filled with flowers and hearts galore. I feel fortunate that I was able to use the Internet to the extent that I did because it made everything much more efficient.
Keeping Up With Bridal Fashion
Thursday, June 4th, 2009I wasted no time in checking out the bridal accessories and bridal hair accessories they had to offer at the online wedding store I heard about. My friend was right about all the cool bridal fashion selections they had available. She was also right about the great prices and special deals you can get. There were gorgeous accessories at low cost that you could use for almost any wedding, whether it be a traditional ceremony or a themed one.
We had no problem choosing the theme we wanted for our wedding and reception, it had to be a beach theme. The beach has been a special place for us and our friends ever since we were kids.
I ordered beach invitations right away so they would be on their way to our friends and family, first thing. Everyone answered with a definite yes, and everyone seemed really excited about sharing this day with us. Now, since the invitations were taken care of, I could concentrate on finding the accessories I want for my wedding. Shopping online has almost become a hobby for me, but even I couldn’t believe what a wonderful selection they had to offer. I saw a gorgeous tiara and hair comb in the selection, and I just had to have them. I also found wedding jewelry that I really wanted to wear for my ceremony. I ordered a beautiful necklace and earring set that looked absolutely fantastic with my gown. It was so beautiful with little pearls and glistening crystals, it looked fantastic.
There was so much in the way of wedding accessories for the bride that was absolutely exquisite and the best part was, it wasn’t all that expensive. I also bought a few items I can use while on our honeymoon. Even though we were getting married on the beach, I insisted on a floor length wedding dress. My bridesmaids and flower girl wore knee length satin dresses with spaghetti straps to help keep them cool and comfortable. They all looked so lovely in their wedding attire.
There were torches around the reception area and the dance floor was lit up with little white lights we had strung around. On the reception tables there were seashells and starfish scattered about and place card holders that were adorable little sailboats. I didn’t want to give our guests some useless wedding favor that would be stuck in a drawer and forgotten, so we gave them beach themed picture frames as thank you gifts. Everyone seemed to like the gifts they received.
On the bride and groom table were our toasting flutes, lovely candles in their beach theme holders and lots of lovely tealights. Our wedding cake topper was especially designed for a beach wedding just as all our other accessories for our reception. We had a cake topper of a young couple holding each other as they walked along the beach. With all the items and bridal accessories they had available, it was easy to make this wedding and reception a total success. For those that weren’t into seafood, we made sure we had plenty of steaks and chicken for them. Everyone danced, ate and just had a fantastic time. If it wasn’t for going on our honeymoon, I never would have left our terrific beach party.
After we returned from our honeymoon, I had to get down to writing all the thank you notes to our guests. Whenever I want to remember my wedding day, I’ll take out my beach themed photo album and look at all the pictures we had taken.
