After being told about a website that had reasonable prices and a super selection of accessories for both wedding ceremonies and receptions, I decided to take a look for myself. It’s true, reasonable prices and many accessories to choose from starting with wedding invitations right down to wedding favor gifts. They even carry super groomsmen gifts and bridesmaids gifts along with all the other fantastic wedding items they have to offer. Needless to say, that’s where I did all my shopping for the wedding decorations and supplies.
First of all, we decided to have a winter wonderland theme wedding since we were getting married in December, and I found so much to work with. I ordered very decorative winter wedding bulletins to send out as invitations. When I went searching for my flower girls basket and the ring boys pillow I found a wedding set that not only had both those things but also, a guestbook, pen set and a lovely wedding garter too. All the pieces matched and I was really surprised at the total cost of the set, it was so much lower than I would expect. I was reading up on wedding ceremonies and that since throwing petals as the bride and groom leave the church may not be exceptable in many churches and couples are substituting bubbles in place of petals. So I ordered bottles of bubbles from this online shopping site I’m using and they also send you little bubble cards for each bottle.
You should see all the accessories I was able to get for our reception. I bought all the gifts for the entire wedding party from there, including gifts for the bridesmaids, flower girl and ring boy. With all the groomsman gifts that my fiance had to choose from, it was hard for him to make up his mind.
He got each of them a mug as their groomsman favors, with the word groomsman printed on it. We could cross off the list of things to buy as far as a groomsman gift, my bridesmaids and the rest of the wedding party, so I could now choose thank you gifts for the guests. There were so many wonderful gift ideas for a winter wedding to give to our guests. The wedding favors I chose were glass winter votive candles with a wintery frosted look for everyone attending the reception. They each had little silver snowflakes as decoration. Every candle was packaged in a decorative favor box with a silver hang tag on them.
The little snow ball ornament place card holders I bought make great little thank you gifts too. I found champagne flutes, cake knife set, and the most adorable whimsical wedding cake topper for a winter wonderland wedding. I asked the baker to turn our top layer of the wedding cake into a ski slope, since the topper I picked was of a bride and groom on skis. I had many pictures of our wedding cake taken for my winter themed wedding picture album, it was so adorable. We cut our cake and shared the first piece, then my brother in law gave a little speech as he toasted to the bride and groom, and then it was time for us to have our first dance of the evening. With all eyes on us as we danced, I felt as magical as a princess in a fairy tale.
This reception was perfect, from the beginning to the end and all of our guests truly seemed to be enjoying themselves. All of my girls in the wedding party loved their thank you gifts as did the guys and their wedding groomsmen gifts. Some of our friends and family expressed how much they really liked the thank you gifts they received and told us what a spectacular wedding and reception we had.
