Elegant Theme Wedding Invitations For Your Wedding!

Friday, December 4th, 2009

I really like a theme wedding. They truly can be a lot of fun. I got to go to a really super wedding and reception last weekend. It was a country western themed ceremony.
A quaint little country church was the location of the wedding ceremony. It was really quite lovely with lots of flowers and candles around the altar, and satin bows and ribbons connected at the end of the pews. With the flowered hair pieces and the lovely baby blue dresses the bridesmaids and flower girl looked spectacular. The groomsmen and ring boy looked quite handsome in their tuxes with little white boutonnieres in their lapels. But the real attraction was the beautiful bride and her elegant groom. They made such a handsome couple. After the ceremony the bride and groom left the church in a horse drawn buggy.
The couple had purchased a nice little ranch outside of town and that’s where they decided to have their reception. It was a lovely home with a couple of acres and a barn for their horses they planned on having. I hate to admit it, but I’m a little jealous of all they have accomplished just starting out.
You could tell she put a lot of effort into planning this reception. Everything was fantastic. Each checkered tablecloth had centerpieces of wild flowers in little metal buckets. Her choice of theme wedding favors and country decorations was so fantastic. There were strings of white christmas lights all around the picnic tables, with a few old fashioned lanterns here and there. The corn stalks and bales of hay really made this the perfect picture of a down home reception. They made sure there were plenty of things the kids would enjoy as well as the adults. There were horse shoes, bobbing for apples, and barn dancing. It was great fun for everyone.
Their country western wedding cake topper was very comical and the cake itself was a masterpiece of confection. The cutest cake topper I’ve ever seen. The western themed champagne flutes were really unique. And she made place card holders out of these little cowboy hats. Everyone thought they were so cute.
There were so many delicious dishes served at the reception. Since they did a lot of grilling, we had our choice of steaks, ribs, and chicken, plus all kinds of salads and vegetables. There was more than enough to eat. Lots of music, dancing, games and food to last all evening. The country western theme was a blast.
Another fun reception is a beach party reception. There is nothing more beautiful than a beach wedding ceremony. You can feel the romance in the air as the sun sets on the horizon. It’s like a romantic novel with the crashing of waves and the warm gentle breeze all around you. On my wedding day, I want to have a wedding ceremony just like this one.
The bridesmaids wore gorgeous summer dresses and the groomsmen wore drawstring pants and linen shirts. Her gorgeous crepe bridal dress was as blue as the ocean waters, and his white linen attire made him even more handsome than he already was. This was definitely a dream come true wedding ceremony.
Their reception was more than elegant too. Everything for her table décor had something to do with the oceanside. Seashells, orchids and little starfish placed in a sand filled tray, with a gorgeous white candle on each side, was her centerpieces. Each and every guest had adorable little seashell place card holders, and champagne glasses with beach themed decorations on the stems.
She had everything in a beautiful beach décor, from her wedding cake topper to the wonderful theme wedding invitations she had put together. This was one of the most memorable weddings I’ve ever attended.

Themed Weddings!

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

I love attending a theme wedding. They can be so much fun. Last weekend I went to a fantastic wedding and reception. It was all done in a country western motif.
The ceremony took place in a small country church. They had satin bows and ribbon to decorate the pews and beautiful flower arrangements with candles all around the altar. The baby blue dresses that the bridesmaids and flower girl wore were simply gorgeous, and the flowered hair pieces were a lovely added touch. The groomsmen and ring boy looked quite handsome in their tuxes with little white boutonnieres in their lapels. But all eyes were focused on the elegant bride and groom. They were a picure perfect couple. A horse drawn buggy awaited to take the bride and groom to the reception.
The couple were having their reception at the country house they had bought a couple of months before. What a gorgeous place they had with a beautiful house and horse barn on two acres. What a wonderful place to start a new life together, it’s perfect.
You could tell she put a lot of effort into planning this reception. It was spectacular. All the tables had red and white checkered table cloths, with little metal buckets of wildflowers in them. Her choice of theme wedding favors and country decorations was so fantastic. White christmas lights mixed in with a few lanterns completely encircled the picnic tables. There were bales of hay stacked here and there with corn stalks on the barn doors. There were so much set up for adults and kids to enjoy. There were horse shoes, bobbing for apples, and barn dancing. We were all having a fantastic time.
The wedding cake was spectacular and the wedding topper had us all in stitches. The cutest cake topper I’ve ever seen. I wish I knew where she got those adorable country themed champagne flutes. And on each and every table she had little cowboy hats that were used as place card holders. I thought that was very creative.
There were so many delicious dishes served at the reception. They grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, mostly for the kids, and steaks, ribs, and chicken for the adults, with choice of salads and vegetables. There was more than enough to eat. Lots of music, dancing, games and food to last all evening. We all had a wonderful time at the country western themed party.
There was another themed reception I went to that was also a lot of fun, it was a beach themed reception. There is nothing more beautiful than a beach wedding ceremony. It’s so romantic with the sunset above the ocean. With the feel of warm breezes and the sounds of the water, you can feel the romance in the air. I plan on having a beach wedding and reception too, one day.
It was such a relaxed ceremony, with all wedding party and beautiful summer dresses and beach wear. The bride wore a beautiful crepe dress that seemed to match the blue of the ocean, and the groom looked so handsome in his white linen beach attire. This was definitely a dream come true wedding ceremony.
Their reception was more than elegant too. The reception tables were decorated with gorgeous beach themed accessories. Seashells, orchids and little starfish placed in a sand filled tray, with a gorgeous white candle on each side, was her centerpieces. Her crystal champagne glasses had beach themed stems and her place card holders were little seashells.
Her beach décor was fabulous and she had everything from a beach cake topper to theme wedding favors that worked perfectly. This was a ceremony and reception I will never forget.

The Search For Summer Weddings!

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

I didn’t have as many problems planning an outside wedding as I thought I would. It turns out that it was a lot cheaper in cost than it would have been to have an indoor wedding. Having the natural beauty of the outdoors saved us a lot of money on decorations. The first thing on my agenda was to find that perfect place to hold our summer wedding and reception party. I thought about a super beach wedding and reception, or maybe have it in a gorgeous garden, but I decided to have our ceremony and reception in the park. I was surprised at all the parks available for weddings.

I decided to go online and get some expert advice on how to plan the perfect outdoor wedding. When you plan to be married in the great outdoors, it seems you have to have a backup plan just in case the weather turns from sunny to pouring buckets. A tent was suggested just in case the weather turns out badly.

In our original wedding preparations, we had a lovely canopy set up for the reception and a lovely trellis for our ceremony. I only had to get decorations for my bridal table and the reception tables for our friends and family. With the park as our main theme, I basically had to make sure I had our table settings and maybe throw in a few extra bouquets of flowers. By using artificial flowers I thought we may be able to avoid any univited guests, like bees. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and didn’t look artificial at all. Although planning wasn’t as difficult a chore as I thought, there were quite a few things to take care of. Like, making sure there were citronella candles all around, rest rooms close by and making sure our cake was kept cool until ready to be cut.

I found quite a few terrific accessories that I could use for the reception. Each of our guest had a park bench place card holder and the centerpieces were flowers arranged around a glass globe with citronella votive candles inside. The chrome bottle openers we bought for our guests were packaged in beautiful favors boxes and given out as a summer wedding favor. The most beautiful part of our wedding table was our cake with it’s gorgeous wedding cake topper.

While shopping for my wedding accessories I saw this topper and couldn’t resist it. They were customized toppers for the wedding couple. After I sent them a head shot of my fiance and myself they made our bride and groom topper to look exactly like us. What a wonderful momento of our wedding day. All of our guests were so impressed with our topper, they couldn’t stop talking about it. Everything I ordered for our ceremony and reception was the best in wedding accessories, especially our crystal champagne flutes and silver cake serving set. It’s unbelievable all the lovely accessories you can purchase from you computer.

Well, the wedding was beautiful and the reception was just as perfect. Plan B never had to be used, since the weather was so beautiful, and thankfully it remained that way through the whole evening. We had a wonderful DJ that I’m sure, kept the music going long after we left for our honeymoon. There were many good comments about our beautiful wedding ceremony and fun filled reception party we had. The park turned out to be the perfect place to have our wedding and reception. If we should decide somewhere down the line to have a renewal wedding ceremony, I think I’d like to have it in the park again.

Finding Great Wedding Albums for a Wedding!

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

Once we decided on a beach wedding, I started looking for all my accessories and supplies they had in a beach motif. I started with our beach themed wedding invitations. I made sure I had plenty of extra invitations, just in case I had to rewrite some of them, and it’s a good thing I did. With the invitations all done and on their way to our prospective guests, I could move on to picking out the beach wedding dress I wanted for our ceremony. With all the selections of beautiful beach dresses and wedding gowns, I had a difficult time deciding what I wanted to wear. I fell in love with two of the floor length gowns, but wasn’t quite sure if it would be uncomfortable to wear to a beach wedding. I found a beautiful beaded knee length dress made of light weight materials of satin and lace, with spaghetti straps for my wedding.

My bridesmaids looked so lovely in their haltered beach dresses of cool linen with a crocheted bodice. My handsome groom wore a sky blue linen shirt and white linen pants and his groomsmen wore white linen shirts with sand colored linen pants. The little ring boy wore a white cotton shirt and khaki shorts, and our flower girl was so cute in a light fabric sundress. Everyone in the wedding party looked fantastic and the bouquets were absolutely the most beautiful arrangements I could have found.

I wish now, with all the photos of our wedding being taken, that I would have bought two personalized wedding albums, instead of only one. I planned to have pictures of all the fantastic decorations at our wedding and reception and photos of every guest that attended. I was sure to let the photographer know I wanted plenty of photos of our vow exchange under our satin canopy and lovely flowered arch. When the ceremony was over, my new husband and I went to our hotel room to change into some more comfortable beach outfits. Although a few of our wedding party went home to change into their beach clothes, there were some that decided to just wear their swimsuits under their wedding clothes. The guests were informed on the invitations to wear casual clothing.

Our guests seemed impressed with the wedding accessories for our reception tables that were done in a beach themed décor. I bought everything for our tables at the same place I bought our lovely beach themed wedding album. The place card holders I chose were these miniature beach chairs that can later be used as photo frames. The guests seemed to like them, and I thought they were just adorable. I also found the perfect beach wedding favors for our friends and family. The little tea lights I chose were in the shape of miniature sand castles and to help them keep the memory of our wonderful beach reception. I found everything we needed, as far as accessories and decorations, for our wedding table and our guests reception tables. I not only bought our beach themed wedding cake topper there, but also the cake knife server set, beautiful crystal champagne glasses and lovely wine glasses too.

Some of the guests were commenting on the gorgeous décor of our reception tables. To help add to the atmosphere, I also bought some of their beautiful gel candles and placed them on all the tables, along with a few tiki torches here and there. Planning this beach wedding and reception was a lot easier than I thought it would be, with all the accessories and supplies they had. It couldn’t have been a more perfect dream wedding and reception, with the gorgeous ocean as our background and the warm sand under our feet.

Every once in a while I take out our beach themed leather wedding album and remember our special day.

Choosing the Right wedding photo album!

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

After it was decided that we were going to have a beach wedding, I went shopping for accessories and supplies with a beach theme in mind. First things first, I bought our beach themed wedding invitations. I made sure I had plenty of extra invitations, just in case I had to rewrite some of them, and it’s a good thing I did. With the invitations all done and on their way to our prospective guests, I could move on to picking out the beach wedding dress I wanted for our ceremony. I looked at several dresses and gorgeous full length gowns, but really couldn’t make up my mind. I was unsure about the two full length wedding gowns I found, I didn’t want to be uncomfortable at my beach wedding. I picked out a gorgeous spaghetti strapped dress made of satin and lace with beautiful little beads scattered around it, in a knee length.

My bridesmaids looked so lovely in their haltered beach dresses of cool linen with a crocheted bodice. My fiance’s wedding attire consisted of a blue shirt and white pants made of linen, and his groomsmen were also dressed in linen, with white shirts and sandy colored pants. The little ring boy wore a white cotton shirt and khaki shorts, and our flower girl was so cute in a light fabric sundress. Everyone in the wedding party looked fantastic and the bouquets were absolutely the most beautiful arrangements I could have found.

I kept thinking how I should have bought two wedding photo albums, because I wanted lots of pictures of our wonderful beach wedding and reception. I planned to have pictures of all the fantastic decorations at our wedding and reception and photos of every guest that attended. I especially wanted photos of us taking our vows under the beautiful flowered arch and satin canopy we had put up. When the ceremony was over, my new husband and I went to our hotel room to change into some more comfortable beach outfits. Some of the bridesmaids and groomsmen wore their swim wear under their wedding clothes, and some went home to change. We told all of our guests to dress casually.

Our reception was such a big success, and everyone complimented us on our gorgeous wedding accessories and how lovely all of our tables were. There were so many other beach themed accessories to choose from, along with our gorgeous wedding album. The little beach chairs I found worked out perfectly as place card holders and they made great little picture frames too. The guests seemed to like them, and I thought they were just adorable. The beach wedding favors I chose for our guests made the perfect little thank you gifts. We bought them little tea lights in the shape of sand castles to represent our oceanside reception. There was so many terrific accessories and beach décor for our reception tables and our wedding table. Not only did I find the perfect wedding cake topper, but I also bought their beach themed crystal flutes, wine glasses, cake serving set and so much more.

There were a lot of nice comments made by our guests on how lovely everything looked. I added some tiki torches everywhere and put gel candles on all of our guests wedding reception tables to help add a touch of atmosphere to everything. With all the accessories and supplies for the wedding and beach party reception, it made planning so much easier. It couldn’t have been a more perfect dream wedding and reception, with the gorgeous ocean as our background and the warm sand under our feet.

Every once in a while I take out our beach themed wedding photo album and remember our special day.

The best new wedding favors I’ve seen in a while!

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

Its been many years since my wedding and I can’t believe how much everything has changed for the better, including the decorations. It’s amazing what is out there and the variety you can choose from. If you want a beach party wedding you can find beach party accessories like beautiful little seashells and starfish, just to name a couple. There were also some pretty clever ideas for garden and other summer and spring weddings and receptions. You could get beautiful new wedding accessories for all 4 seasons. The season that was amazing was the winter season because of all the Christmas colors and decorations you can add to your reception. Did you know that some couples actually have a winter wedding outside? To me having a wedding in the winter outside would be a beautiful site to see and yet a little way out of the norm. I think I’d rather have my winter wonderland wedding and reception, indoors, where it’s warm. Maybe a ski resort would be a good place for a winter wedding, with all the fireplaces and cozy winter atmosphere.

An autumn wedding is so gorgeous and one of my favorite seasons, and has lot to offer in wedding accessories and reception supplies. Autumn is the best season for me and the best time to have a wedding, with it’s colorful background as your main motif. My wedding day was so long ago that the choices we had were being married in the church or running away and getting married. Today there are so many various weddings you can plan, that you can have the wedding you always wanted. I’ve heard of weddings where the location is out of state or even the country and all the friends and famliy fly to that location to have the wedding ceremony. It’s like having a family elopement. There are also a great new wedding favor selection, from everything from traditional to destination weddings that you can buy for your reception.

My daughter is getting married in two months and I’m helping her to plan the whole thing and she has decided to have a country western ceremony and reception. When she told me her idea for the wedding, I thought oh boy this is going to be one weird wedding, but as we were planning it I saw how awesome it was going to be. My daughter found all the western accessories to plan her wedding and make it a success. They had a style of there own. She’s set up a country band, barbecue grills and hay bales that will be part of the party decor. There will be lights and lanterns strung throughout the reception, giving it that western look. Also she purchased centerpieces and name card holders that are western style. They’ve arranged to rent a dude ranch for this event, which really surprised me, because, I didn’t know you could even do that. Many of the wedding decorations that she ordered online are a great match for her country western wedding. She also purchased cowboy hats for herself and her groom and the most adorable new favors for her guests.

It’s looks like when this is finished being planned, that it will be a big family barbecue with dear friends. Which when I think of it, sounds like a pretty good time for all. Would you believe there’s even going to be an old fashioned barn dance too? After hearing all this I knew I had to go to the store and get blue jeans, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat so that I could join in the fun and excitement. This wedding is going to be the wedding of the year and probably won’t be forgotten for a long time. Thanks to my daughters great country themed wedding, she’s given me a great idea for our anniversary.

I saw beautiful bridal veils that you could get in short or long with awesome rhinestones on them and the one I liked the best was a floral veil with embroidery around the edges. There are some beautiful tiaras too that would go great with the veil I like so much. I think I would have picked that one for my fairytale wedding.
If you could ony see the beautiful little flower baskets and ring pillows there are. There’s even a set you can buy that covers a lot of the accessories you need for any wedding ceremony you choose to have. They have baskets and pillows that have a lot of satin and lace that would go with my storybook wedding, and they have albums, guestbooks and unity candles that matched my theme, too. Planning the wedding of your dreams would be no problem at all, because of all the things they have out there. They also have very unique favors for your friends and families’ thank you gifts. They have a great winter wonderland wedding selection that is so gorgeous. There are snowball place card holders, and unique wedding gift ideas like snowmen tea lights and beautiful winter votive candles in lovely icy blue colors and designs. They have a great selection for almost any theme you choose, from a seasonal wedding to a country style ceremony and reception.
I found some really awesome ideas for wedding cake toppers for all kinds of receptions, even for the couple that enjoy a good laugh. There are whimsical wedding toppers that can really get the party going. My favorite is where the bride is wearing the pants and also the one that is amusing to me is the one that the bride is hooking the groom with a fishing pole. There were also more romantic toppers to choose from too, like the gorgeous heart or floral cake toppers.

Finding the right summer wedding themes!

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

It was a lot easier than I thought it would be to plan my outside wedding and reception. It turns out that it was a lot cheaper in cost than it would have been to have an indoor wedding. Having the natural beauty of the outdoors saved us a lot of money on decorations. The first thing I had to do was to find the perfect location to have our summer wedding and reception. Instead of having our wedding ceremony and reception on the beach or in a garden, I chose to have it in the park. I found there were several great locations that would work out perfectly for an outdoor wedding.

Since I never planned a wedding like this before, I needed all the help I could get. If you’re going to have your ceremony outside, it’s a good idea to have an alternative plan just in case the weather turns on you. It’s a good idea to have a tent ready to continue your ceremony if it becomes necessary.

Plan “A” was setting up a gorgeous trellis for our ceremony to be performed under and canopies for the reception. I mainly concentrated on the decorations for our wedding table and the reception tables. About all I needed were a extra flowers and my table settings, thanks to the already present beauty of the park. I thought artificial flowers would be best, since we didn’t want a bee invasion ruining our ceremony. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and didn’t look artificial at all. The wedding was easier than I originally thought it would be, but there were a lot of things to consider. You want to make sure you have plenty of citronella candles scattered about, and that the rest rooms are within walking distance, and make sure your frosting on your cake doesn’t melt in the heat.

As far as table décor, I found so many fantastic accessories for our reception. I had little park bench place card holders at each table setting, and little citronella votive candles in glass globes with a nice flower arrangement as our centerpieces. For each of our guests there were beautiful chrome bottle openers in lovely designed favor boxes, as a summer favor. For our wedding table, of course, was our fabulous wedding cake with a very unique wedding cake topper.

I saw this cake topper when I was checking out all the wedding accessories they had to offer, and I knew this was the topper I wanted. They were customized toppers for the wedding couple. After I sent them a head shot of my fiance and myself they made our bride and groom topper to look exactly like us. Talk about the best wedding keepsake you can get. Our friends and family were really loved the cake topper and gave us a lot of compliments on it. Everything I ordered for our ceremony and reception was the best in wedding accessories, especially our crystal champagne flutes and silver cake serving set. It was amazing all the super accessories you can buy online.

Well, the wedding was beautiful and the reception was just as perfect. Thank goodness the weather stayed perfect throughout the entire ceremony and reception and we never had to put plan B into action. We all loved the super DJ and the fantastic job he was doing, and if I’m right, he probably kept the music and dancing going on for quite a while after we left to go on our honeymoon. A lot of good things were said about our wedding ceremony and everyone said they had a fantastic time at the reception. The park turned out to be the perfect place to have our wedding and reception. If we celebrate one of our anniversaries with a wedding renewal, I want to have it in a gorgeous park again.

Found Some Gorgeous High-Quality Engagement Party Invitations

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

The first thing I did when I decided to give my girlfriend a bridal shower was to put together a list of everything I was going to need for thte shower. Goal number one was finding a graduation party invitation. Dragging myself from shop to shop hoping to find a good deal or a decent selection isn’t my idea of a good time, so I went searching for supplies online. I hit the jackpot there. I was really surprised to find so much and at such great prices. The price I paid on some things were almost criminal. The script on the party invitations was silver, and the edges were pearl; they looked exquisite. The site also had standard party invitations, bachelorette party invitations, and many other types of invitations.
The place card holders they had were adorable, so I got those, along with other supplies. Another item I picked out for the bride was a sign-in book for guests so that she could keep track of who gave her what gifts easily. There was also a cute idea for a place card holder that I really liked. They had these little plastic handbags that I filled with colorful little candies and found place cards with pink lilies printed on them. When placed on the tables at the shower alongside the gifts and things, they looked cool No matter what the reason for the gathering, they have an appropriate favor box to go with it. I chose little floral patterned boxes which I stacked on a cake plate in layers and sat on the gift table. It was a good-looking way to set it up, and everyone there just came by and grabbed a gift. As thank you gifts I decided on manicure sets for everyone, and I bought a few extra gifts as prizes for the party games we were going to play. I found some random things to hand out as awards, such as unique key rings, little vanity mirrors, and special soaps.
There were plenty of proposals for bridal shower games on the web as well. If you want to see something humorous, try playing ‘Take It Off,” a game where you have to but a bag on your head and then, when the person running the game tells you to take off one piece of clothing, you have to take one off – and it’s astonishing how many women don’t have it come to mind that they ought to take off the bag. This is really a hysterical game to play. We had a hoot playing bridal bingo and some other activities, too. Deciding to surf the web was an excellent thing to do since I saw all kinds of things I could use and a good portion of them were very affordable. I made out alright purchasing my favors and invitations from them. The things I purchased were well made, and I spent a lot whole less than I thought I would have to, and had a whole lot more choices. This site I found also has wedding invitations and favors, so I made it a point to inform my friend who was getting married about it, since I was sure she would want to know about this place. She’ll have a lot of options when she uses this site, and it will save her a pretty penny, which all newlyweds need. The bridal shower wouldn’t have been as good without it. We all had a super time and all my favors and other accessories really impressed my guests. The people who took the time to go to the shower will all get thank you cards, which I’m working on now. Naturally, I bought the cards for thank yous over the Intenet as well. Now I have to go back online because I’m helping my friend plan her sons’ birthday party and they have quite a bit to offer there too.
