Elegant Theme Wedding Invitations For Your Wedding!

I really like a theme wedding. They truly can be a lot of fun. I got to go to a really super wedding and reception last weekend. It was a country western themed ceremony.
A quaint little country church was the location of the wedding ceremony. It was really quite lovely with lots of flowers and candles around the altar, and satin bows and ribbons connected at the end of the pews. With the flowered hair pieces and the lovely baby blue dresses the bridesmaids and flower girl looked spectacular. The groomsmen and ring boy looked quite handsome in their tuxes with little white boutonnieres in their lapels. But the real attraction was the beautiful bride and her elegant groom. They made such a handsome couple. After the ceremony the bride and groom left the church in a horse drawn buggy.
The couple had purchased a nice little ranch outside of town and that’s where they decided to have their reception. It was a lovely home with a couple of acres and a barn for their horses they planned on having. I hate to admit it, but I’m a little jealous of all they have accomplished just starting out.
You could tell she put a lot of effort into planning this reception. Everything was fantastic. Each checkered tablecloth had centerpieces of wild flowers in little metal buckets. Her choice of theme wedding favors and country decorations was so fantastic. There were strings of white christmas lights all around the picnic tables, with a few old fashioned lanterns here and there. The corn stalks and bales of hay really made this the perfect picture of a down home reception. They made sure there were plenty of things the kids would enjoy as well as the adults. There were horse shoes, bobbing for apples, and barn dancing. It was great fun for everyone.
Their country western wedding cake topper was very comical and the cake itself was a masterpiece of confection. The cutest cake topper I’ve ever seen. The western themed champagne flutes were really unique. And she made place card holders out of these little cowboy hats. Everyone thought they were so cute.
There were so many delicious dishes served at the reception. Since they did a lot of grilling, we had our choice of steaks, ribs, and chicken, plus all kinds of salads and vegetables. There was more than enough to eat. Lots of music, dancing, games and food to last all evening. The country western theme was a blast.
Another fun reception is a beach party reception. There is nothing more beautiful than a beach wedding ceremony. You can feel the romance in the air as the sun sets on the horizon. It’s like a romantic novel with the crashing of waves and the warm gentle breeze all around you. On my wedding day, I want to have a wedding ceremony just like this one.
The bridesmaids wore gorgeous summer dresses and the groomsmen wore drawstring pants and linen shirts. Her gorgeous crepe bridal dress was as blue as the ocean waters, and his white linen attire made him even more handsome than he already was. This was definitely a dream come true wedding ceremony.
Their reception was more than elegant too. Everything for her table décor had something to do with the oceanside. Seashells, orchids and little starfish placed in a sand filled tray, with a gorgeous white candle on each side, was her centerpieces. Each and every guest had adorable little seashell place card holders, and champagne glasses with beach themed decorations on the stems.
She had everything in a beautiful beach décor, from her wedding cake topper to the wonderful theme wedding invitations she had put together. This was one of the most memorable weddings I’ve ever attended.

Themed Weddings!

I love attending a theme wedding. They can be so much fun. Last weekend I went to a fantastic wedding and reception. It was all done in a country western motif.
The ceremony took place in a small country church. They had satin bows and ribbon to decorate the pews and beautiful flower arrangements with candles all around the altar. The baby blue dresses that the bridesmaids and flower girl wore were simply gorgeous, and the flowered hair pieces were a lovely added touch. The groomsmen and ring boy looked quite handsome in their tuxes with little white boutonnieres in their lapels. But all eyes were focused on the elegant bride and groom. They were a picure perfect couple. A horse drawn buggy awaited to take the bride and groom to the reception.
The couple were having their reception at the country house they had bought a couple of months before. What a gorgeous place they had with a beautiful house and horse barn on two acres. What a wonderful place to start a new life together, it’s perfect.
You could tell she put a lot of effort into planning this reception. It was spectacular. All the tables had red and white checkered table cloths, with little metal buckets of wildflowers in them. Her choice of theme wedding favors and country decorations was so fantastic. White christmas lights mixed in with a few lanterns completely encircled the picnic tables. There were bales of hay stacked here and there with corn stalks on the barn doors. There were so much set up for adults and kids to enjoy. There were horse shoes, bobbing for apples, and barn dancing. We were all having a fantastic time.
The wedding cake was spectacular and the wedding topper had us all in stitches. The cutest cake topper I’ve ever seen. I wish I knew where she got those adorable country themed champagne flutes. And on each and every table she had little cowboy hats that were used as place card holders. I thought that was very creative.
There were so many delicious dishes served at the reception. They grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, mostly for the kids, and steaks, ribs, and chicken for the adults, with choice of salads and vegetables. There was more than enough to eat. Lots of music, dancing, games and food to last all evening. We all had a wonderful time at the country western themed party.
There was another themed reception I went to that was also a lot of fun, it was a beach themed reception. There is nothing more beautiful than a beach wedding ceremony. It’s so romantic with the sunset above the ocean. With the feel of warm breezes and the sounds of the water, you can feel the romance in the air. I plan on having a beach wedding and reception too, one day.
It was such a relaxed ceremony, with all wedding party and beautiful summer dresses and beach wear. The bride wore a beautiful crepe dress that seemed to match the blue of the ocean, and the groom looked so handsome in his white linen beach attire. This was definitely a dream come true wedding ceremony.
Their reception was more than elegant too. The reception tables were decorated with gorgeous beach themed accessories. Seashells, orchids and little starfish placed in a sand filled tray, with a gorgeous white candle on each side, was her centerpieces. Her crystal champagne glasses had beach themed stems and her place card holders were little seashells.
Her beach décor was fabulous and she had everything from a beach cake topper to theme wedding favors that worked perfectly. This was a ceremony and reception I will never forget.
